Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Went here for a banquet dinner. The food was tasty but the service wasn’t as expected. Normally for banquets, the dishes are served by the wait staff. Most of the time here, the servers deposited the dishes on the table and we were left to distribute the food ourselves. There’s pluses and minuses to both experiences, this is just an observation. Other than that, staff were quite responsive to individual requests for drinks etc. The lobster was unique in that each guest received a small half lobster instead of the usual one lobster that’s cut up into bite size pieces."
"Good authentic Chinese restaurant with dim sum, lunch and dinner menus. They use to be many things such as another Chinese restaurant, a lounge and karaoke bar. The entrance is different from your typical restaurant but really it's in the basement. There are stairs even if you want to go to the washrooms. Service was good. Food was good. It did get a bit stuffy and hot half way through our meal. And I actually got nauseous and felt faint after I exited but not sure if it's related to my visit there."
"This was our first visit to this restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised by how affordable the prices were. We happened to catch all three special price time slots (we had our meals from 10-12:00) The food tasted great and the service was good as well. The place is small but cozy, with a comfortable atmosphere. We’d definitely come back again!"
"Food was good overall. The chow mein was nice and crispy. The rice with shrimp was really good and you could really taste the shrimp flavour in the rice. The vermicelli I found was a bit bland. The service and the cost of the food was decent."
"It is a great dim sum place. You may consider that nowadays the interior standard should be modern and western, this restaurant gives you the traditional and local feeling that you can taste and feel of the old Hong Kong. I love their soup dumplings with an abalone in it and the BBQ pork bun is the must order. They opened at 9am on weekdays. When we enter sharp 9am, it is not crowded. Suddenly after 9:15am, the restaurant is crowded and most of the tables are occupied. Wow."
"Came here with a group of friends during their weekend 大中小點一律同價 special hours. The food was quite good, and the service was friendly. It did get busy, so we had to wait a while for our dishes, but nothing too bad. They also offer some great deals at different time slots, which is nice. Will definitely visit again!"
"This is hands-down one of the best dim sum spots I’ve had in a while. Everything is made to order, super fresh, and packed with flavour. The selection is huge, and the best part? From 11:00am to 3:00pm, all small, medium, and large dishes are just $4.98! It’s an unreal deal—I honestly don’t know how they make a profit, but I’m not asking questions. If you’re a dim sum lover, don’t sleep on this place. I’m rooting for their success and will definitely be back while the promo lasts."
"Some of the best dim sum we’ve had in a while. Fresh, flavorful, great portions with great prices and friendly service. We live an hour away but well worth the trip and will definitely return."
